Welcome!
I finally found the time to change the old web and update it. I'll still be writing about my interests and also will be including friends, and of course Nellie our dog, and Ham Radio stuff.
And sure...I'll also be including the ol' gardening stuff!
The "Hackie" or the Hackensack River. And no touch-ups here. I took this photo from the grounds of the Steuben House. It almost looks good enough to swim in......if you dare......ewww. Though years ago, folks used to swim in it. Though years ago, there weren't as many people around as there are now.

Spring has sprung! ....I think. And it sure does rain enough, doesn't it???

Well its still Spring.....I think, but with the unusual heat wave we're having right now, you could sure fool me! It was around 100º today. 06/09/08

Ahhh summer! Vacations, barbecues, swimming, heat, humidity, smog. Ohhhh boy! And what's with the intense thunder storms this year??

I now notice the mosquito population is much worse this year. Geez.....I get out in the yard to play with the dog and maybe three minutes later, I'm bitten already. And I'll never survive out there if I don't use bug repellent....though sometimes its too late. Bzzzzzzzzzzzzz.......
